Weekeend

Saturday: Slept in. Internet was down so I drove to campus so I could work. Went to the WAC, helped the Vice Commodore put the motor on our new whaler (since when do the top two officers install outboards?)…it seemed like half the tools we needed were missing from the shop…I had to go to the hardware store at one point. Sometime during the morning I got a text message from Becky wishing me a happy birthday, and then another one several hours later.

Preston was in town and he was arranging dinner and a Star Wars viewing. Preston and Barbara showed up at the WAC around 6:30, and we went to the House to pick up Levi and Jeremy, then we proceeded to Gorditos (yummy Mexican place). Gorditos has huge burritos for cheap. I ate an entire grande burrito…which was really impressive, but that is way too much food, even for me.

Parking at the theater was a pain, but we managed to all sit together…in the very front row, but that was OK. Jeremy said he felt like he was watching tennis the whole movie. Becky sent me another happy birthday text message right before the movie started (three in one day…I feel special ). People are undoubtedly going to want to know what I thought of the movie…I’m not sure…ask me later. After the movie some of us were craving juice so we went to QFC and then to the House, where we proceeded to play taboo and then sit around talking for an hour or so, that’s when I remembered that great quote from Levi that appears in the previous entry.

Sunday:Slept in until 11:00. Internet was still down so it was off to campus again. Went to Taco Del Mar for lunch…the Ave was a mess from that silly street fair thing. Went home…it looked like there was wind so I considered going sailing but I was too lazy, so I took a nap instead. Ross got back that evening and said I missed some killer sailing…grrr….
