I liked the part where SIT bought us Tokogas (toe-ko-gash). They’re not allowed to buy us alcohol… so they payed for a chef who gave us tokogas, which is like extremely sweet, cause you to go blind, really hard, homemade, rum. Of course, I don’t drink, neither does anna, neither did the people who had malaria at the time (there were four of them but one was anna anyway) so… the others decided to drink our shots of it too. Do you have any idea what it’s like to be stuck on a beach with nothing but you and 10 REALLY drunk university students? It’s a lot like this:
me: “Carissa we JUST saw a crocodile, don’t stick your hands in the water”
Carissa: “but I’m looking for a stick!”
ok, actually she wasn’t drunk when she did THAT but… yes, they got very drunk on the SIT bill.
