I’ve often thought that (not in those words exactly) about a lot of the creation myths of ancient civilizations. yucky

That wasn’t a figure of speech…that’s seriously what the Egyptian account says.
Most creation accounts from the Near East contribute creation to some sort of sexual activity…usually the mating of two separate deities. The Egyptians were a little more creative.
