XM Radio
Today I went to Fry’s. I was considering buying a TV tuner card or a new video card for my PC. Their selections in both departments were very disappointing. So…wandering through the audio department I saw a XM radio vehicle kit for $80. I decided I was sick and tired of commercials on the radio, and decided to buy one (I’m not usually an impulse buyer). So…I get it hooked up in the car and called them to activate it. The so-called automatic activation system was pretty cool–but it choked as soon as I gave it my last name. So it transferred me to a real person…after waiting on hold for about 15 minutes I finally got it activated. It was OK…it had stations dedicated to the 80s and 90s, and the music was pretty good. Then Jesse’s girlfriend is looking at the channel guide and mentions that there’s a broadway showtunes channel!!! I have to admit…up until this point I was sort of kicking myself for buying this thing…I mean, the music was alright, but not THAT great. But…with the broadway showtunes channel–all was forgiven. This was the best thing I ever did.

Sad that the best thing you ever did got no comments, so I’ll comment.

You probably at least log IP addresses, and I’m curious as to whether you have anything to associate my IP with me.
Sad thing is, I can see myself forgetting to come back here to see your reply, if any.

Kenmore area…interesting. Who do I know around there that even knows what an IP address is?
